Another of Silver Maples’ dynamic residents has been featured in the regional publication, LegalNews. Resident Larry Boyd Lindemer has had a long career as Michigan Supreme Court justice, on the University of Michigan Board of Regents, as 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force and numerous other positions in law and politics. He’s had the occasion to rub shoulders with Herbert Hoover, Bobby Kennedy, Nelson Rockefeller, and George Romney, to name a few.
Lindemer raised his family in Stockbridge, Michigan, lived in Ann Arbor, Washington D.C., and New York. He now calls Chelsea, Michigan home at Silver Maples Retirement Community. Lindemer says, ““I enjoy the staff, other residents and general atmosphere.”
