Health and Wellness are a Big Part of Aging Well.
At Silver Maples, we offer various senior wellness and fitness program options to maintain or even improve your quality of life. No matter if you like to walk or swim or work out alone or in a group setting, we have just what you’re looking for to help you stay active and healthy.
Our in-house workout room is available with instructor-led classes to guide your exercises and help you do what you feel most comfortable with. We also offer free memberships to the Chelsea Wellness Center, which features two pools, whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms, an indoor track and group fitness classes. You will be sure to find a senior health and wellness program to suit your needs at Silver Maples!

Chelsea Wellness Center Features:
Silver Maples residents can take advantage of a FREE membership to the nearby Chelsea Wellness Center. This state-of-the-art facility features:
- Group exercise classes - yoga, aerobics and cycling
- 25-yard lap pool and warm water pool
- Indoor walk/jog track
- Resistance training equipment, free weights and cardiovascular equipment
- Whirlpool, sauna and steam room
- Certified fitness specialists

Community Health and Wellness Paths
Be well, be active
The community wellness paths in Chelsea, Michigan were created by Silver Maples through a generous grant from the Chelsea-Area Wellness Foundation. Through comprehensive partnerships, the paths opened in May 2011. The main 0.8 mile loop circles Silver Maples, with legs to the Chelsea Senior Center and to Main Street, via the historic Interurban Rail Line. The paths are open to the public and is ideal for walking, bicycling, jogging or skating.
