🌮🎉 Our Cinco de Mayo-themed mixer dinner brought people together over flavorful dishes, lively conversation, and a shared appreciation for culture and community. Residents enjoyed Chile Lime Salmon with Avocado Mango Salsa and Shredded Beef Tamales served in corn husks, alongside Mexican rice and a colorful zucchini, corn, and pepper medley. And of course—lime and strawberry margaritas to toast the evening! 🍹

🌟 A big shoutout to our incredible resident volunteers! 🌟 This year, an amazing 46% of our residents—that’s 92 individuals—are actively serving on one or more committees here at Silver Maples. Their time, ideas, and dedication are truly the heartbeat of our community. To show our appreciation, we host an annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon, where our leadership team has the pleasure of serving lunch to these remarkable individuals. It’s one of our favorite traditions! We also recognize two outstanding individuals as Volunteers of the Year—a small way to honor the big impact they make. From shaping programs to enhancing daily life, these volunteers make a meaningful impact every day. Thank you to each and every resident volunteer for your generosity, passion, and commitment. 🌸 Heartfelt thanks to our local Girl Scout troop and Chelsea Village Flowers for bringing a burst of springtime beauty to Silver Maples! 🌸 The Girl Scouts generously donated their time to create beautiful fresh flower arrangements with our residents, and the flowers were lovingly donated by the wonderful team at Chelsea Village Flowers. Not only did our residents enjoy the laughter and connection shared during the activity, but they’re now enjoying the vibrant arrangements displayed throughout the Meadows. It was a beautiful example of community, kindness, and creativity in full bloom!
