Gallery 100 is pleased to present The Creative Corner Collection, an exhibition featuring children’s artwork created through the Manitou Beach Creative Corner’s camps and workshops. The exhibition will be on display at Gallery 100 from April 27 through May 8, with an opening reception on May 3 from 2:00–3:30 p.m. The community is warmly invited to attend and experience the creativity of these young artists and to enjoy the music performed by violinists from Lansing Symphony Orchestra.
Founded in 2018, the Creative Corner in Manitou Beach Village has grown into a dynamic program offering one-week summer art camps for students ages 6–15. With 20 sessions now available across age groups, the program emphasizes small class sizes, high-quality materials, and hands-on instruction, creating an environment where creativity can thrive.
“The Creative Corner is all about giving young artists the space and support to explore their creativity and build confidence in their work,” said Jean Lash, Director, Manitou Beach Creative Corner. “Each piece in this exhibition reflects not only what they’ve learned, but the joy and imagination they bring to the process.”
Gallery 100, located within Silver Maples of Chelsea, continues its mission of supporting artists of all ages and fostering a deep appreciation for the arts within the community. The exhibition and reception are free. The gallery takes no commission on sales, ensuring that 100% of proceeds go directly to the artists.
