Senior Living Careers with Silver Maples

Since 1997, the hallmark of Silver Maples has been its sense of community and family; fostered by positive, compassionate leadership, embraced by staff and residents alike. We feel our employees are our most important asset. At any given time, we have roughly 130 total employees that offer longevity and continuity which helps enhance the lives of our residents. Currently 8 of our employees have served our organization and our residents for more than 15 years, and 25% of our staff have more than 5 years of service. We attract a variety of wonderful team members, with our oldest being 75 and our youngest age 16.

Our Employee Retention Rates

We’re proud that so many team members choose to build their careers with us. Overall retention across Silver Maples is 86%, and when we look specifically at our core team members, excluding high school and college staff in part-time roles, that number rises to 90%.

We’re especially proud of our dedicated Resident Care Associates in The Meadows, our assisted living residence. Direct care roles can be challenging, and turnover is typically high across the industry, yet this year, our Meadows team has achieved a 78% retention rate. For comparison, the assisted living sector average retention is approximately 52.9%. This speaks to their compassion, commitment, and the supportive environment we strive to provide.
