Gallery 100: The Many Faces of Fiber Art

The Ann Arbor Fiberarts Guild (AAFG) is showcasing their work in our Gallery 100 May 3-June 29. Anyone is welcome to come walk our Gallery hall to take in the beautiful basketry, beading, crochet, dying, painting, embroidery, felting, garment design, quilting and so much more! Our residents at Silver Maples reach out to artists in the community to bring these wonderful shows together.

The AAFG is an educational, not-for-profit club of fiber artists founded in 1956. The club provides opportunities for fiber artists to meet and exchange ideas, and to learn about fiber art through lectures and workshops. In addition to monthly meetings, the group also sponsor sales and exhibits of members' work.

This exhibit features work by Millie Danielson, Carol Fleischer, Anne Flora, Linda Girard, Cindy Harris, Anne Knott, Anne MacKinnon, Karen Koyka O'Neal, Tammy Renner, Trish Richie, Mary Valerie Richter, Deb Spring, Agnes Soderbeck, Barbara Schutzgruber, Karen Turckes, Helen Welford and Kathy Zasuwa.
